    Meet Jennifer

Hi! I’m Jennifer Ritchie. I am a Registered Psychotherapist with The College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). More specifically, I am someone who believes in the power of feeling connected, heard, and understood. I am someone who ignites change in people’s lives and relationships.

I work collaboratively to help teenagers, adults, and families to identify and build on their strengths, to improve and recharge their relationships, to learn new skills and strategies, and to feel connected and supported to manage the many uncertainties and challenges that life brings. My job as your therapist is not to assume the role of an expert in your life. Rather, it is to allow you to share, process, explore, and begin to make sense of things at a pace that feels comfortable to you. My job as your therapist is to help you thrive, realize your potential, and make changes that align with your values.

I’m friendly, warm, and down to earth. Therapy should never feel stiff, stale, or impersonal so I strive to ensure you feel comfortable and at ease during our time together. Those closest to me know that relationships with my family and friends are my priority and I will make you my priority as well.

We all deserve a little help sometimes and I am so glad you’re here. Together, I want to help you become the parent or the person you want to be. I want to help you find solutions to your concerns and regain a sense of wellbeing. I want to support you, your teen, and your family in finding a way forward by making meaningful, long-lasting changes that will bring balance and joy back to your every day.
